Carol was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in surrounding suburbs of Atlanta. She resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia, with her loving and devoted husband, Matt, of 38 years. Carol and Matt have three sons, Chase, their youngest who lives nearby in Duluth, Georgia, pursuing a career in computer technology with a local firm; their middle son, Drew, a Pharmacist, currently residing in Phoenix, Arizona; and Ryan, their eldest son, a Dentist who resides in Boston, Massachusetts. They are very proud parents, to say the least! Carol and Matt have made many fond and lasting memories raising their sons in the same house they still live in. Carol strongly knows family and faith go hand in hand.
In April 1996 Carol was set free from a religious stronghold(of condemnation), and her life has never been the same. This experience/truth has given Carol the same passion to see other women set free from condemnation (John 3:17) so they can take steps to know God (in Christ) in a personal relationship, rather than just going through the motions of religious activity or duty.
As the Lord has taken her from glory to glory and faith to faith in her journey (2 Corinthians 3:18), she has been active in various churches that have helped expand her view of God and the body of Christ and His purposes. Carol has been involved in ministries from nursing homes, the homeless, and Women’s Ministry/Sisterhood, which expresses her passion. To God be the glory! She was led to write and self-publish her first devotional book in September 2011: “An Inch-worm Journey of Purpose.” Carol is a former member of the Georgia Christian Business Network in which she gleaned from for approximately three years, under the dynamic leadership of Beth Copeland. In 2013 she did her first radio interview with Beth on radio station Love 860, sharing the message of God’s healing and restoration through transformation.
